Frances’s Bucket of Fun

     People in our school are alike in many ways, yet they can also be very different. I compared Jaydylee and Kiera. To get more information, I interviewed them. Although, they are my friends and I see them every day, there are some things that I never knew before. They helped me get a better understanding of their personalities.

     Jaydylee and Kiera are alike in some ways. For example, they both like icecream. Their favorite time of school is 5th period. Also, they are both filipino. Jaydylee enjoys watching comedy and horror movies, likewise, Kiera likes watching them too. They both don’t have a favorite genre of music. They enjoy a vairety of music. Similarly, they are both in the 8th grade.

     Although Jaydylee and Kiera have many similarities, they have a lot more differences. Jaqydylee’s favorite colour is pink, but Kiera’s in blue. Jaydylee likes pandas, however, Kiera like penguins. Kiera’s birthday is on September 29, but Jaydylee’s birthday is on January 20. Jaydylee is part of the team 8A, on the contrary, Kiera is part of 8C. Jaydylee’s favorite food is sushi, on the other hand, Kiera’s in brownies.

     Ever since I interviewed them, I learned more about them. I also learned that Jaydylee’s favorite drink is Vitaminwater, but Kiera’s in just regular water. From comparing them, I learned how different they really are. As you can see, every person has lots of similarities and differences. There is not one person who is exactly alike another person.

I didn’t really like The Outsiders. This movie was
mainly about two very different groups of people
who hated eachother. There are the Greasers and
The Socs. The Socs are these rich people. The
Greasers are people who are poor and are just
trying to fit in.

There’s alot of boring scenes in this movie. I
think that there aren’t much comedial scenes
either. There is violence, which I dislike very
much. The video and audio quality isn’t great.
There is why I suggest you do not watch
The Outsiders.

My favorite website is myspace. On myspace,

I can talk to my friends and family. I can listen

to music and watch videos if I’m bored. There,

we can post blogs, pictures, and bulletins. We can

also make our own layouts and catch up with people

we don’t really see much. That’s why myspace is

my favorite website! (:

     Pollution is a big problem to the world and everything in it. People don’t care about our environment. They are too lazy to throw their trash away, so they just throw it where stand. Sometimes I hear people complaining about all the trash, but they don’t do anything to help stop it. Some of the people who complain contribute to all the litter.

      Smoke from ships, cars, and smokestacks rises into the air, weakening the o-zone layer, promoting global warming. The o-zone layer protects us from the sun’s harmful rays. Oil from motorboats and jet skisgoes into the water. The oil spills kill fish and other sea life.

      I think, that to make our world better, people should pick up trash whenever they see any and not to litter. People should start thinking about cutting down on using their cars or other motor vehicles. Everyone really should care about earth more, because this is where we live. It’s our one and only home.

A lot of students were really sad. Some girls who were really close friends with Joanna cried. Teachers talked about it. They let us do make-up work or let us kick back and reflect on what happened. People weren’t as hyper and happy and loud as they usually are.

I think that there should have been bathrooms located at the skatepark. The speed limit should be lowered. A crosswalk abd speed bumps could really hlep also. The road needs bright street lights. If people need to cross the road, they should watch out for any drunk drivers.

     My favorite movie is Transformers. Transformers is about
saving the earth from the Decepticons, a group of evil robots.
Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons. The Autobots
are the good robots trying to save earth. Optimus Prime is
the leader for the Autobots. The Autobots and Decepticons
fought. The Autobots won.

     People should watch this movie, because it is full of action
and comedy. It has great graphics. It’s entertaining. When
the robots transform, it’s cool. Also because it shows great
friendship. Those are reasons why you sould watch Transformers.

On Friday, there was an explosion at the Makati Mall
in the Philippines. Six people were killed and about 70
others were injured. This explosion caused walls to be
destroyed, roofs toppled, and lots of debris outside.
Police said they weren’t ruling out a bomb attack.
I disagree with the idea that it wasn’t a bomb attack.
I agree that this explosion did cause a lot of damage,
along with a lot of people gettin killed and hurt. I think
more than 70 were injured. Those are some things that
I agree and disagree with.

      Some people think that Halloween is childish. I completely disagree. I agree that Halloween is a time to have fun. Many people love this day, because they get to dress up and get lots of candy from trick-or-treating. I also like the fact that we can all be anyone or anything for this day. It’s a time for anyone, no matter what age, to get out and be a kid again. I enjoy the fun of just putting on a costume and making my face as part of my costume.

     In general, Halloween is a fun day, where anything is possible! We can come up with the kookiest of costumes, and especially to be creative. It’s so much fun, especially to be with friends and family. After trick-or-treating, I bargain with my cousins. “You give me this, I’ll give you that!”
